This historic area that was settled in the 1760s just 50 miles from Manhattan. It is recognized for its orchards and wineries, along with its charming downtown full of shops and eateries.
Our convention hotel will be in Mahwah.The name "Mahwah" is derived from the Lenape word "mawewi" which means "Meeting Place" or "Place Where Paths Meet". It is at the crossroads of several major highways with oodles of chain restaurants and shopping of every variety.
Both towns are in proximity to the Appalachian Trail, Greenwood Lake and NY's lovely Harriman State Park.
