THE NORTH AMERICAN TORQUAY SOCIETY (N.A.T.S.)
In 1986 Ken visited the T.P.C.S exhibition at Bonhams stating "I could not believe my eyes at the sheer variety and quality to Torquay pottery". He joined T.P.C.S. and began to collect Torquay pottery in earnest - he particularly liked tobacco jars, plates, miniatures and latterly faience wares.
Faience wares certainly were to become his core interest within Torquay pottery and he became an expert on the subject. He bought named pieces from all around the UK and would love to visit the places take photos and investigate the history. Eventually these would be included in his talks that he did for our society and others. This catalogue contains all his faience ware collection and each piece is photographed as a lasting record and a tribute to the gentleman who collected them.
The 47 page book contains 161 full colour pictures of Ken Hall's faience collection.
Priced at $15.00 ($12 to members after their 20% discount) this book is an invaluable guide to Torquay faience ware.
