Our convention hall opened at 8.30 on July 14 to allow members to set-up their theme displays and put out their pots for the Members' Sales table and the Silent Auction.  A welcome innovation in 2006 was the photo contest which attracted 14 entries.

Charlotte Hense, our Products Manager opened for the sale of the books, magazines and binders.

Schelby Scherr, N.A.T.S. President welcomed all those present.  Shelby introduced our Life Members present and the visitors from England.   Carl Fisher reported the Board's decision as to future conventions which will be more properly reported in the society's journal.  The membership report and financial statements also will be published in the journal.

Carol Oxley opened the presentations by reading an article on "The Collector Gene".  We anticipate obtaining permission to include this article in a future issue of the journal.   Gerry Kline followed with a very interesting account of the foundation of N.A.T.S.  Gerry's notes will be the basis for a future article in the journal.

Edith Molson was the first presentor to use our newly acquired computer-driven projector.  Shelby Scherr worked with several of the presentors to take advantage of the system and the results were evident in the high quality of this year's presentations

Alice & Marty were winners of this hand-made rug donated to the raffle by Jill

Brenda handled our "Mysteries" table with assistance from MaryJo and Lucy.

The Sales Mall opened at 10am. These pictures were much earlier !

Some found the wait quite tiring

We were fortunate to attract 11 dealers to this convention with a good selection of the pottery.

There was plenty of excitement in the closing seconds of the Silent Auction.

Our closing dinner was the usual elegant affair followed by entertainment organised by Kathy Collins and Priscilla Sherwood.
